This is for you if:
You have a student in kindergarten - college, are looking for educational testing, and suspect there may be some psychological disorders related to the academic learning process.
This is NOT for you if:
You are looking for a quick evaluation or prescription medication.

A Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) in CA is a current or previous school psychologist working in a private practice capacity. An LEP can provide educational evaluation, diagnosis of psychological disorders related to the academic learning process (such as Specific Learning Disorder or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), consultation with other educators and parents on issues of social development and behavioral and academic difficulties. LEPs are unique in their ability to provide diagnoses for many behaviors impacting education as well as being well versed in the special education system of public schools.

Fees are based on the specific referral question/s and the overall complexity of our work together. Please reach out via email or schedule a call so we can discuss your concerns and then I can provide you with cost information.
At this time, I do not take insurance; however, I am happy to discuss options that may assist you in submitting information to your insurance company (typically referred to as a superbill) for possible reimbursement.
For many children, similar services are available in the public school system at no cost, whether you are currently attending public or private schools. I am happy to consult with you at no cost to discuss this.
Hours:
I work Mondays through Saturdays, by appointment only. I do have hours after school, in the evenings as well as on Saturdays. I will work with you to schedule time to work with your child to minimize time away from school/homework, choosing times that are advantageous for your child.
